The Yolo County Sheriff’s Department Animal Services Shelter continually seeks a loving person or family for homeless animals at the shelter. Studies have indicated that a pet can be a source of livelihood, inspiration, and medical improvement for humans. By adopting a pet not only are you giving a shelter animal a second chance, but you will also have a companion who can bring many years of love and devotion to you and your family.

Some adoptive parents have shared their experience and sentiments with the Sheriff’s Animal Services personnel and we would like to share a few of them with you here.
